There are many reasons you may want STD testing. With our online service you can test for chlamydia and gonorrhea for less than $70 at a Quest Diagnostics lab near you.
Getting tested is the only way to know if you have these infections. You often will not have symptoms.
Results typically take three to five business days after you provide your urine sample at the lab.

If you test positive for chlamydia, you can complete a separate online visit to see whether we can safely prescribe an antibiotic. That visit fee is separate from the test price.

STD test labs
Go to Quest Diagnostics for the urine test.
The test we order is a standard urine test for chlamydia and gonorrhea. It detects both unless you were infected in the last two weeks — testing earlier may miss an infection. It does not detect infections in the throat or anus.
The lab portion costs $28.16 because we negotiate low prices for patients.

About chlamydia and gonorrhea
Chlamydia and gonorrhea are among the most common sexually transmitted diseases. You can get them in the vagina, penis, anus, or throat through vaginal, anal, or oral sex. Testing is the only way to know if you have them.
They are treatable but can become serious if untreated. Chlamydia is treated with antibiotic pills; gonorrhea requires an antibiotic injection.
Having chlamydia or gonorrhea can make it easier to get other STDs, including HIV. Left untreated, they can cause infertility in women by damaging the fallopian tubes.
Symptoms of chlamydia and gonorrhea
Many people have no signs or symptoms. When symptoms occur, they may include:
- Pain or burning when you urinate
- Unusual fluid from the vagina, penis, or anus
- Bleeding from the vagina during or after sex
- Pain or tingling in the penis
- Lower belly or back pain, especially during sex (women)
- Pain and/or swelling in the testicles
- Fever
