We can help if you want to understand your cholesterol levels or if you need treatment.
Even if you don't have high cholesterol, you can use GoMDUSA to order labs to measure how your cholesterol levels change over time. Our medical team can help interpret your results.
We can also help if you need treatment. If you've had lab work through GoMDUSA then we can write three-month prescriptions for statins on an ongoing basis. If you've never had blood work through GoMDUSA then a single one-month refill of your existing statin is the most we can prescribe until you're able to go to the lab.

Pay visit and lab fee
Pay a $25 visit fee. If you have not had labs with GoMDUSA, you will also pay a Quest Diagnostics lab fee.
Medical team review
Depending on state regulations, you may have a short video visit. If you do not need labs, we may prescribe at this point.
Get your labs done
Visit your nearest Quest location with photo ID. Appointments are optional but can save time.
Lab results review
We review your results and share them with you. If appropriate, we provide a prescription.
Free delivery
Medication ships to your door in 2–3 business days when prescribed.

Who we can't help
Anyone can use GoMDUSA to get tested for high cholesterol, but we can't prescribe treatment if the following apply.

To receive a statin prescription you need to know your blood pressure. Many pharmacies offer free blood pressure checks — find a Higi or Pursuant Health machine near you.

If you use GoMDUSA for high cholesterol, we provide guidance on other aspects of your health to manage.
We only prescribe statins
We prescribe statins when safe and appropriate per national guidelines. We do not currently prescribe other cholesterol-lowering drug classes — see a clinician in person for those options.
Risks of taking statins
Statins are generally safe but can cause rare serious side effects including muscle pain and weakness, severe allergic reaction, kidney failure, disability, and death. Risks increase with other prescription medicines — tell us all medicines you take.
Before taking any prescribed medicine, read your treatment plan and package insert for full side effects and warnings.
